Our domes are built for all four seasons. Each has a whisper-quiet mini-split HVAC for heating and AC, plus insulation, extra blankets, and heated mattress pads for cold mountain nights. Rain? Stay perfectly dry while watching the storm through panoramic bay windows.
We maintain strict cleanliness standards and use professional pest control, though you may occasionally see tiny visitors like ladybugs or stinkbugs. The surrounding 50 acres are home to white-tailed deer and wild turkeys. We ask guests to keep dome doors zipped and food stored properly.
Very. Faraway sits on 50 acres with significant spacing between domes, nothing like a traditional campground. Each dome is strategically oriented with panoramic windows facing the wilderness. Your private deck and fire pit are your own secluded outdoor living room.
Yes, no 4WD needed. Faraway is fully accessible by a standard vehicle. The final stretch involves maintained country roads, and there is a dedicated parking area for guests.
